How did you decide to make your own line of soaps and cleaning products?
I’ve always loved to clean and started making my own cleaning products in college. Many years later I decided I wanted to make a contribution to the environmental movement and I knew how toxic “regular” cleaning products were so I decided to develop my own line of products. I started out on Etsy and the line just took off.
What’s been the hardest lesson to learn while running your own business?
I think in the beginning I treated it more like a hobby but as it grew I quickly realized I really needed to treat it like a actual business. That was a tough transition for me but it forced me to grow and stretch myself which I consider a blessing.
How has ShipStation helped you with your business?
ShipStation has saved me so much time and money. It really changed the way I processed orders and allowed me to bring down costs quite a bit. My only regret is that I didn’t find it sooner!
What’s your favorite ShipStation feature?
I love being able to compare shipping prices quickly. I also love the Home screen, being able to see quickly without opening any spreadsheets what the top selling products were for the month. But more than anything I just love how easy it is to use. It’s quick, intuitive and super user-friendly.
