How long had you all been riding before founding TAB Performance?
I’ve been riding since I was a kid and been involved with motorcycle design and production since I was a sophomore in college.
I saw on your website that you all have shipped to 6 of the 7 continents; collectively, how many have you been able to ride on?
Unfortunately only 2. North America and Australia.
How hard has it been keeping your production in the United States?
Although there are some manufacturers in the industry moving their production to low cost countries we strongly believe in American-made products, and would rather cut costs by innovation, lean principles, and the help of services like ShipStation, then send our work overseas.
What’s your favorite ShipStation feature?
The fact that it brings all our customer and order information into one easy to use, web-based system.
How has ShipStation helped you with your business?
1.) It has eliminated the need to log into each of our on-line sales platforms and download order information, then upload tracking information.
2.) Since it integrates with both our sales platform and our shipping providers there is no need to copy and paste shipping information, which can be time consuming and prone to errors.
3.) It keeps all our order and customer information in one spot allowing us to better serve our customers when then call in with questions about recent and/or past orders.
4.) It makes managing returns very easy, and again keep all the information in one place and well organized.
5.) The fact that its web-based, and has an app makes it easy to use anywhere we had an internet connection, which is very important for a small company constantly on the move. This also eliminates the need for us to store and backup this information on our local systems which saves resources.
