Every plan in ShipStation comes with a free Stamps.com account (saving you $15.99/month). Up to now, that’s meant discounted rates, easy SCAN forms and reporting, auto-tracking shipments, and more. We’re adding to that even more: You can now schedule a next-day USPS pickup.

If you’re using our free Stamps.com account, you’re going to see a new tab on the Shipments page, Pickup.

Once you click on that, you just need to enter in a few things (total number of different sorts of packages, total weight, and any special instructions) and all of a sudden, you have a scheduled pickup for the next day!

For those of you with multiple Ship From Locations, you’ll select each location in the sidebar BEFORE entering in package types and weight and scheduling.

The only thing to watch out for: you have until 2:00 a.m. to schedule a pickup for that day. So if it’s 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning and you schedule a pickup, the USPS will be knocking on your door later on Tuesday. But if you schedule at 2:01 a.m., the pickup will be on Wednesday.
