Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition (IRCE), is known as the world’s largest eCommerce show. Some call it the ‘Super Bowl’ of eCommerce. If you have attended before you will know why.
McCormick Place West in Chicago was the venue. A fitting venue, considering it’s the largest convention center in North America, with over 2.6 million sq. ft. of exhibit halls.
The exhibit hall for IRCE featured over 600 vendors and covered over 250,000 square feet of space. It can take a couple of hours to walk from one end to the other, no joke. (see below)
So why do so many people attend each year? Well… a conference full of industry experts, an exhibit hall filled with the latest and greatest solution providers, and a community made for networking with thousands of like-minded industry peers. With vendors in nearly every category available – including marketing, fulfillment, e-commerce platforms and new retail technology and more – you are sure to find the solutions you need at IRCE.
When it comes to trade shows, IRCE 2017 is one of ShipStation’s biggest investments and with good reason. Located in prime real estate the ShipStation booth looked fantastic and stood out from every corner. An attendee was overheard saying to another, “Let’s meet at the big ShipStation booth.”
Many people come to IRCE for different reasons. Some to show off their product, others to meet existing users and partners. Some just come to see what’s going on in the eCommerce world. Many of the partners we spoke with, stated that it’s great to put a ‘face to a name’, they are able to get more done face to face in a couple of days, than weeks of back and forth via email.
