I love Apliiq’s foundation in involving people in the creative process, making it a collaboration. How does that carry over into Apliiq’s current process?

Over at Apliiq, we believe creativity creates company culture. We specialize in creating and using textiles to rethink traditional branded apparel. We recently released a new way to make custom t-shirts, by customizing pocket tees. We absolutely love challenging people to rethink traditional products and empowering them to use their artwork in new and exciting ways.

What’s the method behind finding and selecting such vibrant fabrics? How do you decide what makes the cut?


Fabrics are our absolute passion. Not surprisingly, we are located in downtown Los Angeles, next door to the famous fabric district. Anything can be used as inspiration for a fabric hunt. We love how different cultures create fabrics using different processes with amazing results. Selecting the perfect fabrics are both a visual & tactile experience and you just know when you find the one you are looking for.

From dance teams to dodgeball teams, your customer base seems pretty broad! Is there a particular project Apliiq worked on that stands out?

Our customers are united by their desire to create and their innate creativity. From working with startup streetwear brands, to the largest tech companies in the world, we are proud enablers of people’s creative pursuits. We are particularly proud of the 100s of brands customers that have decided to start their clothing line by investing in high quality woven labels. Nothing pleases us more than shipping a high quality product we know our customers will love.

How has ShipStation helped you with your business?


ShipStation has been nothing short of a #gamechanger. Many of our customers are working on tight timeframes and tighter budgets. ShipStation delivers value directly to our customers, by finding the cheapest shipping rate (across multiple carriers) and has added tremendous efficiency to allow us to ship products faster. In a couple months, you’ve saved us thousands of dollars in shipping fees. I would go out of my way to recommend ShipStation to any company that needs to ship a product.

What’s your favorite ShipStation feature?

Can I only pick one? The Insights dashboard has some pretty jaw-dropping features; from measuring the profitability of your shipping to your order aging. But I’d have to say the hands down best feature is the ability to simply get rate quotes from our different carriers.
