I could watch a stuffed shark eat bars of soap all day—who decides on what creatures SoapSox creates and when will we see a T-Rex?
Deciding on new characters is a team decision and a big deal. We strive to keep things fresh and fun. We have three new characters launching soon and who knows if one of them is a T-Rex? It would be pretty cool. We do have some big news to share in the coming months.
How did you handle your post-Shark Tank rush and what do you wish you knew?
Our post shark Tank rush was ridiculous, there is no way to really handle it because theres nothing like it. We felt like we were drinking from a fire hydrant, but given the mentors we have and the systems we put in place we survived. Prior to Shark Tank I wish I knew following the airing, thats when the real work begins. 500 emails a day, and everything else that goes into managing your business. There is no time for celebration, its time to really get to work.
Tell us a little bit about Hillsides and how SoapSox works with them.
Hillsides is an amazing facility that works to create lasting change for children and families. We provide Hillsides and other like agencies with with product, financial support, and promotions in an effort to raise awareness about their programs and ways folks can get involved.
How has ShipStation helped you with your business?
ShipStation has made my life and the life of our logistics manager easier. No only can we ship and track seamlessly, we can modify orders, change the ship date, and compare rates in one place.
What’s your favorite ShipStation feature?
The weekly report that gives you great information on sales, shipping costs, etc., which helps me run my business more efficiently.
