Frequently Asked Questions
What marketplaces and shopping carts do you support?
We strive to be there for wherever you sell and however you ship, so we’re always working towards having every selling channel solution ever. For the full list of our partners, check out this page.
What counts as a shipment?
Any shipping label that is generated through ShipStation (including return labels), any external fulfillment (like FBA), or “mark as shipped” order processed through ShipStation is considered a single shipment. Reprinting a prior shipping label is not counted as an additional shipment, but re-shipping an order (as in, generating a new label) is counted.
Can I change my plan?
Sure thing! It’s easy to change your account’s plan to a different one. We’ll be there if you have a sudden influx of orders and need to ship more than what your previous plan allowed. (In case you have a downturn, that’s no problem, either; we’ll be there.
Can I cancel my account at any time?
Absolutely! Once you sign into the app, you can cancel your account by going into the settings and going to your subscription plan, or reach out to [email protected]. We’ll be sad to see you go!
When will I be billed?
At the end of your free trial period, once you have selected a plan, the billing cycle will begin. The subscription fee is applied for the upcoming month and will be invoiced every 30 days, thereafter. Any label fees during the billing period will be invoiced on the same date as a separate charge on your account.
Does ShipStation charge VAT?
If your business is VAT registered, please add your VAT Registration Number to your ShipStation account to ensure correct tax is applied.
UK businesses that have added a valid VAT ID to their Account Settings will not be subject to VAT charges.
If no VAT Registration Number is provided, VAT will be applied to all billable ShipStation transactions, including:
-
- Labels purchased via ShipStation Carriers
- Subscription Plans & Feature Add-Ons
- Additional Users
- Mark As Shipped
- Shipment Fees
- Carrier Adjustments
To update your VAT details, visit Account Settings. For more information, check our help article.
