We won’t charge you any additional fees outside of the subscription cost and the cost to bring your own carrier accounts; except in the case of Premium Integrations. Also, please note that you are responsible for the cost of your postage and insurance. For prepaid postage (from USPS), you can set up certain auto-refill amounts. For all the post-billed postage (from FedEx, UPS, etc.), you’ll be billed just like you always have been.
Sure thing! It’s easy to change your account’s plan to a different one. We’ll be there if you have a sudden influx of orders and need to ship more than what your previous plan allowed. (In case you have a downturn, that’s no problem, either; we’ll be there.)
Absolutely! Once you sign into the app, you can cancel your account by going into the settings and going to your subscription plan, or reach out to [email protected]. We’ll be sad to see you go!
We will not charge you a dime unless you upgrade your subscription. If you need to purchase insurance or postage, we’ll collect billing information then for those partners. If you want to upgrade to a ShipStation subscription, we’ll bill you at the end of your 30-day free trial for the plan that you choose.

Nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Our mission is to make you efficient at fulfilling your orders – wherever you sell. We don’t think it’s right to charge you more if you want to use multiple selling channels to grow your sales. The only time you would see an additional fee is if the selling channel you want to connect is a Premium Integration.
**ShipStation offers competitive shipping rates through direct agreements with carriers like UPS, FedEx, DHL, Canpar, CanadaPost, and Puralator. Accessing independently-negotiated carrier rates through ShipStation will incur an additional monthly fee that varies by plan level.

The monthly fee is charged if a merchant identifies itself as (i) having its own direct carrier account and (ii) deciding to use the rates available in its own direct carrier account. This type of merchant would receive access to the ‘connect with your carrier’ page via ShipStation.

If you decide to continue past your free trial period and select a paid plan, you will be charged a monthly subscription fee that reflects the plan you select. For your convenience, once you have activated your subscription, your ShipStation service will continue uninterrupted unless you decide to cancel.
