ShipStation, the leading web-based e-commerce shipping solution, has launched ShipStation Companion – a mobile app that is free for all ShipStation customers.
ShipStation Companion is compatible with iPhone and Android mobile devices, and is available for free in the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store. The app is available today as a public beta and the ShipStation team is accepting feature requests and feedback before the final version is released.
“ShipStation Companion has really helped me find and see orders more quickly when I’m in the normal processes of my day,” said Max McGuffie, owner of SomethingArtistic, a ShipStation customer. “I’m not always at the computer, so having the app alert me to new orders, and then being able to see and partially manage that order has been really valuable for me.”
ShipStation customers who use ShipStation Companion will be able to:
- Receive notifications for new orders from all sales channels
- View order status and details
- See and track shipments
- Add tags or notes to orders
- Email shipping labels and packing slips directly to customers and fulfillment partners
- Resend confirmation emails
- View sales reports and operations analytics
