When you sign up for the referral program, you will be automatically sent to your Refer a Friend dashboard. From here, you will get access to your referral link. This is also where you will track referrals, and access your $100 Visa debit gift cards.

If you are not able to access your dashboard immediately, check your email after creating an account for login information.

When you sign up you get your unique referral link. You can email it to your friends or if you have a blog or website, you can link it there too. 

Refer as many people as you can—it’s unlimited! Just remember to share your referral link in a personal manner and make sure to avoid any spammy behavior. Remember, a referral has to sign up for ShipStation and pay their first invoice for you to get paid. Each qualifying referral nets you a $100 Visa debit gift card. For example, 5 qualifying referrals earn you $500 worth of Visa debit gift cards!

Every time you post, share, or send your referral link, you must tell people that you earn a reward if they use your link to sign up for ShipStation. Telling people that you earn a reward is a legal requirement and it is required under the Referral Program terms.  You can use the default language that ShipStation may provide to share your link, or include something like “I earn a reward if you sign up for ShipStation using my link.”

Feel free to customize your message to the friend or audience you’re trying to reach out to! However, be sure to also let users know that you earn a reward if someone signs up using your link.

Once you create your account and a qualifying referral subscribes to a monthly plan and pays their first invoice, you are eligible to receive a $100 Visa gift card. You will receive an email letting you know you have a gift card to redeem. Follow the link in the email to claim your gift card. Gift cards will be sent to the email address associated with your account. You will have the choice of a $100 Visa debit gift card or a $100 gift card from a selection of retailers. 

Once you create a Refer A Friend account, you can go check on your referral history at any time!

Rewards are provided monthly through your Refer A Friend program account for referrals that qualified in the prior month. Because each referral is eligible for a 30-day free trial prior to subscribing, it’s likely you’ll receive confirmation more than 60 days after their initial signup.
