FedEx rates went up in mid-September 2021. If you’ve been following FedEx services, you know this is slightly earlier than the usual annual announcements of this nature. FedEx Express, FedEx Home Delivery, and FedEx Ground rates will across the board increase by 5.9%. As with most years, a 5.9% increase might be more or less for a merchant, depending on their shipping profile. Most of Federal Express’ changes take effect on January 3rd, 2022, although some changes are staggered.
Shipping rates for FedEx Express see an average increase of 5.9% for U.S. domestic, U.S. export, and U.S. import services.
FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery shipping rates will increase by an average of 5.9%. FedEx Ground Economy shipping rates will also increase.
The following FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, FedEx Ground Economy, and FedEx Freight surcharge changes will also take effect in the coming months:
