Johnny Cupcakes

The idea behind Johnny Cupcakes spawned from the various nicknames given to our founder/owner Johnny Earle (Mr. Cupcakes himself) at one of his previous jobs, “Johnny Appleseed”, “Johnny Cupcakes”, etcetera. We, of course, know which name stuck. The name Johnny Cupcakes was catchy and made people smile, so soon after Johnny was making t-shirts with that very moniker and sold them out of the trunk of his beat up old car. The positive and friendly nature of those shirts caught on quickly and here we are over 10 years later in need of software like ShipStation to help us keep things running smoothly.

ShipStation has helped us consolidate any and all shipments that leave our warehouse. We sell our products online exclusively through our own website, but we also have an eBay vault for older, out-of-print items. The amount of time saved by utilizing ShipStation is dramatic, and we’re able to process more orders in a shorter period of time. It has also helped eliminate many headaches and frustrations we dealt with in our previous shipping systems.

We’d have to say the best part of ShipStation is the consolidation of everything and the ease in which you can fly through many orders. Having an interface that handles orders coming from various sources that allows you to then ship through any number of shipping partners is simply a dream come true. If you saw how we ran the warehouse before, you’d think we were masochists.
