A UK wall sticker brand turned influencer dropshipping chaos into streamlined global fulfillment—hitting growth targets five months early with just two full-time staff.
When Karen Griffin’s 18-year-old son moved into a rented flat with strict rules against nails, Blu Tack, or tape on the walls, she saw an opportunity hiding in the frustration. Years of research later, FabriStick® was born—a trademarked line of removable, reusable fabric wall stickers designed for renters who want to personalize their spaces without sacrificing their deposits.
Based on the South Coast of England, Stickers4Walls has carved out a niche in the home décor market by targeting young families in rented homes that want vibrant nurseries and playrooms without the commitment. The product’s magic lies in its versatility: FabriStick can be cut into custom shapes, peeled off, and repositioned as many times as needed.
“We started focusing on creating colourful fabric wall stickers aimed at young families in rented premises, who wanted easily removable decor for their nurseries and playrooms,” Griffin said.
Griffin joined Shopify in February 2023, drawn to its intuitive interface and robust add-on features. The platform’s tools for building mailing lists and creating customer journeys helped transform Stickers4Walls from a small operation into a brand with serious growth ambitions—including plans to launch a dedicated B2B store.
But the real acceleration came when influencers discovered FabriStick. Suddenly, Griffin wasn’t just fulfilling orders from her own store—she was dropshipping for content creators across Shopify and TikTok Shop, many of whom were selling her products to their own audiences.
The model worked brilliantly for the influencers. For Griffin’s small team, it created chaos.
Managing dropship orders meant tracking a constant stream of notifications arriving via text, social media messages, and emails. Each influencer had their own platform, their own customers, and their own expectations for updates.
“There were notifications coming by text, social messaging, and emails—it was very time-consuming for influencers and us and led to lots of mistakes,” Griffin said.
The tracking process was particularly painful. Since Griffin didn’t have access to the influencers’ customer stores, every delivery update required a manual step-by-step process:
“It was mad if one influencer would get 50 orders a day at peak,” Griffin said.
International shipping added another layer of complexity. Brexit introduced additional/new paperwork requirements for EU customers, including IOSS and GPSR registration. Then came changes to US import rules that demanded DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) solutions—a requirement that would ultimately prove to be a turning point.
“It truly is a global marketplace,” Griffin said of her worldwide shipping reach. “[We sell] anywhere we are allowed to.”
Finding carriers willing to handle residential B2C deliveries in the UK proved surprisingly difficult. The larger, more efficient carriers preferred business addresses, and as parcel volumes grew week over week, the old system of driving bags of parcels to different checkpoints became impractical.
Griffin knew she needed a more robust shipping platform—one that could connect her Shopify store, manage her growing list of sales channels, and tame the chaos of dropshipping. Shopify integration and multi-channel connectivity topped her priority list.
She reached out to several shipping platforms. Only one responded.
“ShipStation was the only company to respond to my initial contact for help and was very patient in talking me through the options. So customer service definitely made them stand out.”Karen Griffin, Founder, Stickers4Walls

The ease of filing claims for lost parcels sealed the decision.
“Realistically, things go missing, so this was an important factor,” she added.
Connecting ShipStation to Shopify took almost no effort.
“Absolute childsplay,” Griffin said of the integration process. “Same day. It took much longer to decide which carrier to integrate with.”
That carrier question eventually resolved itself in an unexpected way. The need to find a DDP solution for US customers led Griffin to Royal Mail, which offered the most cost effective pricing as well as daily collections given her growing order volume. Since October 2024, Royal Mail has handled 98% of Stickers4Walls orders.
Today, Stickers4Walls uses ShipStation to manage orders from:
The operational transformation has been dramatic.
“OMG it’s transformational in terms of time saving and negating errors from manual entries. We just love Monday mornings and argue who is going to fire up ShipStation and see how many collective orders we need to process, as most of the influencers are active over the weekends!”Karen Griffin, Founder, Stickers4Walls

The numbers tell the story:
For Griffin’s lean team of two full-time staff and a few temps, the efficiency gains have been game-changing. Customers now receive tracking information automatically, eliminating the need for manual updates—a shift that has improved satisfaction scores across all channels.
The combination of ShipStation and Shopify hasn’t just streamlined operations—it’s supercharged growth.
“It is the one single integration that has allowed us to grow so big so quickly. We are five months ahead of our growth goals, and it would be hard to imagine how we would manage this many orders without this integration.”Karen Griffin, Founder, Stickers4Walls

Without the automation, Griffin estimates she’d need additional staff and significantly more stress. Instead, her small team can focus on what matters: creating products, supporting influencer partners, and preparing for the next phase of growth.
“Having the right systems and partners to allow that growth is vital to us,” she said.
