Get the ReportI have been riding, racing and building bikes since I was a kid. Cycling has always been my passion. However, I became equally as interested in entrepreneurship and business when I was about 20 years old. After a year or so of some market research and planning, I started Worldwide Cyclery at the age of 21. I wanted to gather some friends together who also loved the industry, and create a shop like nothing else. We are on our fourth year now, have doubled in growth every year and are on track to close this year at $3M in revenue. The company has grown quickly and we are all having a lot of fun! We carry some unique brands, offer customization you can’t find in a normal bike shop and do our absolute best to provide phenomenal customer service. Those factors, among others, have helped us grow a lot. Our company culture is very important to me, because I think everyone should love where they work, the people they work with and the industry they are in. We embody that at Worldwide Cyclery, no doubt!
Custom builds are definitely our specialty. The cycling industry is quite complex these days, there are whole categories of bikes and parts for dozens of different disciplines. This allows riders to build and tailor a bike just for what they are doing. We build our own bikes like that, and love to help our customers do the same. Most of our favorites we have posted on our Facebook page.
ShipStation has been vital to our business operations. To be honest I have no clue if we could even run the business without it! We ship a LOT, and having everything organized in one intuitive system has given us the ability to stay organized and stress free.
That’s tough to say, but if I had to pick one it would be the automation rules. It is incredible how much time those save us.
ShipStation has been absolutely amazing! We would never have been able to grow our business to where it is today without ShipStation.
