ShipStation Now Offers the Lowest USPS® Shipping Rates

Here at ShipStation, we love to announce deeper discounts from our carrier partners. That’s because we know how important shipping costs are to ecommerce businesses of all sizes. 

Today, we’re thrilled to share that our USPS rates are getting even better. 

Starting on October 19, 2022, we have entered into a newly expanded agreement with the United States Postal Service that allows us to offer the lowest rates in the industry to all ShipStation users. Combine that with ShipStation’s powerful technology and vast network of ecommerce partners, and we’ve got all your shipping needs covered. 

What are the new USPS rates?

Starting today, ShipStation customers can take advantage of: 

  • The lowest USPS rates in the industry
  • Savings of up to 89% off retail prices offered 
  • Up to 15% off Commercial Plus Pricing (CPP) on USPS Priority Mail®
  • Merchants who already use Cubic Pricing can take advantage of additional discounts 

When will rates go into effect? 

These new, lower rates have gone into effect as of October 19, 2022, at 12:01 AM CT. Lucky for ShipStation customers, there’s no action needed to access them. Simply log in to ShipStation, and choose the USPS shipping service that suits your needs. 

A note about holiday surcharges 

With ShipStation, you get more than just immediate access to discounted USPS rates. ShipStation users will avoid most peak-season holiday surcharges! These surcharges do not apply to our rates that are below CPP. We’ll calculate all of this automatically in-app so you won’t have to worry about it!

What does this mean for my business?

Shipping costs have never mattered more to ecommerce consumers. Between rising fuel costs, inflation, and supply chain challenges, the costs of running a business have gone up and consumers are feeling it.
