Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment with ShipStation helps you connect orders, tracking, and fulfillment across sales channels. Learn more.
Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) with ShipStation gives merchants one place to route off-Amazon orders for fulfillment. Our platform pulls orders from connected stores, applies automation rules, and sends tracking updates without bouncing between tabs. This guide covers how the setup works, which settings matter, and how to keep order fulfillment clean across growing sales channels.
Amazon MCF is Amazon’s multi-channel fulfillment service for orders placed outside Amazon. That means a customer can buy from Shopify, eBay, Etsy, TikTok Shop, or another store, while Amazon handles pick, pack, and ship in the background.
Our platform brings those orders into one queue for easier order management. Instead of creating fulfillment requests one by one, you can connect stores, review incoming orders, and route the right shipments to Amazon MCF. That matters when a business sells across sales channels and needs one overview instead of separate workflows.
The core integration is simple. ShipStation connects selling channels and fulfillment providers so orders can move through one workflow. If you already manage Amazon Seller Central plus other marketplaces, that cuts manual work and keeps every order easier to track.
Common multi-channel use cases include:
For sellers handling fast-moving channels like eBay, Etsy, or even marketplaces such as SHEIN, the value is control. One queue. Clear status. Fewer missed steps.
Setup starts in account settings. Once Amazon MCF is enabled as a fulfillment option, you can choose it when creating or routing shipments.
A simple setup flow looks like this:
After that, you can send fulfillment requests from the order screen or automate order routing. If FBA is selected as the ship-from location for eligible items, ShipStation can also show FBA stock values on order line items before a request is sent.
Automation rules do the heavy lifting. They help choose which orders should go to Amazon MCF based on store, SKU, tag, ship-from location, or other filters. That means less clicking during busy days and cleaner ecommerce fulfillment when order volume jumps.
Useful rule ideas include:
If those Amazon options are not enabled for the account or supported by the fulfillment warehouse, our platform returns an error, so you’ll need to adjust the shipment settings before resending.
Tracking stays important after fulfillment starts. Our platform sends shipment status back to connected channels, which helps the customer see progress without manual updates from the seller.
There’s also a useful tracking detail for some marketplace orders. For eligible eBay and TikTok Shop US orders fulfilled through Amazon MCF, ShipStation can retrieve the Amazon Fulfillment Tracking Number and send that pre-shipment tracking to the marketplace before a label is created. That gives the customer earlier visibility.
A few limits apply:
Amazon MCF works best when a business wants faster fulfillment without building a separate warehouse workflow for every store. It’s especially useful for brands shipping across several integrations and trying to keep orders, tracking, and customer updates aligned.
It may be a strong fit when you want to:
ShipStation supports direct shipping workflows with carriers like UPS®, USPS®, FedEx®, and DHL Express when Amazon MCF isn’t the right choice for a shipment.
Amazon MCF can simplify fulfillment, but the real win comes from managing it inside one platform. ShipStation helps you connect channels, route orders, and keep tracking organized as volume grows.
