ShipStation, the world’s leading cloud-based e-commerce shipping solution, today announces its integration with Oracle NetSuite, the leading integrated cloud business software suite, in order to help  organisations in Australia and New Zealand better manage distribution channels and the customer experience.

NetSuite Connector for ShipStation helps organisations achieve fast and efficient shipping by providing full round-trip order fulfilment processing, keeps vital information centralised and aims to eliminate manual data entry, costly errors, and delays by automating the near real-time transfer of data between the two applications.

By establishing a data map between NetSuite and ShipStation, organisations can also improve customer satisfaction by accurately tracking and managing inventory levels. With this information flowing through NetSuite, finance teams can simplify and accelerate the process of recording transactions, managing payables and receivables, collecting taxes, and closing the books.

NetSuite Connector for ShipStation

NetSuite Connector provides a seamless connection between ShipStation and NetSuite, helping organisations manage partial fulfillments and multiple packages. By synchronising data and orders between NetSuite and ShipStation, merchants can:

  • Improve Inventory Management: Accurately track inventory across multiple locations, determining reorder points, controlling safety stock and executing cycle counts.
  • Automate Order Management: Speeds up and streamline order processing and fulfilment by automatically sending orders to 3PLs (third-party logistics), vendors or warehouses.
  • Simplify Finance and Accounting: Automate repetitive tasks, such as recording transactions, managing payables and receivables and closing the books.
  • Enhance 3PL Order Management: Orders are exported from NetSuite into ShipStation. The 3PL order sync includes customer records, items, prices, taxes, discounts etc.
  • Improve 3PL Order Fulfilment: Once items are fulfilled in ShipStation, the fulfilment data is exported from ShipStation into NetSuite. The 3PL fulfilment sync includes carriers, shipping methods, tracking numbers etc.

“All merchants want to be able to fulfil their orders and ship as effortlessly as possible,” said David Boyer, General Manager ANZ, ShipStation. “NetSuite Connector for ShipStation enables merchants to have order and fulfilment data streamlined and centralised in one location, making it easier for them to make crucial decisions, automate core processes and optimise delivery operations as they scale their business. We always strive to make it as simple as possible for our merchants to have access to best-in class technology and NetSuite Connector is no different.”
