GlobalPost Plus Intl: a US DDP service,<br> now available in ShipStation.

GlobalPost is a global shipping solution provider, primarily for e-commerce businesses. It is part of Auctane, the same parent company as ShipStation. Operating since 2018, they are HQ’d in the US with a global team. Their services have been used by over 50,000 global companies to ship over 60 million parcels.

GlobalPost Plus Intl is available to all ShipStation users. It will come up automatically as a delivery option for any US shipment.

In some cases, you may need to toggle the service on or reactivate it.  Simply go to the carrier settings in your ShipStation account and activate/reactivate GlobalPost as a carrier option.

GlobalPost Plus Intl shipping prices start from £11.84. Use ShipStation’s Rate Browser for the most accurate and up to date pricing.

Packages can weigh up to 10 kg and must not exceed a maximum length of 100 cm on the longest side. The combined dimensions (length, width, and height) cannot be greater than 150 cm. There is no minimum dimension requirement.

The maximum value of goods cannot exceed £2,500 or 10kg of weight. All packages must be fully compliant with US Customs import regulations.

Certain items may not be eligible for shipment using our services. Ineligible items include any goods which are prohibited by law or regulation, or any hazardous materials, dangerous goods or other items which are subject to regulation by Title 49 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations or as defined by the USPS https://www.usps.com/international/shipping-restrictions.htm.

In addition, you may not use the services to ship prohibited items such as aerosols, airbags, alcoholic beverages, ammunition, animals, insects, furs, dry ice, explosives, firearms or replicas, gasoline, glues, hazardous materials, hemp-based products (including CBD), human remains or medical waste, lithium batteries, marijuana (medical or otherwise), matches, medicines or prescription drugs, nail polish, paint, perfumes containing alcohol, perishable items, poisons, or tobacco products (including e-cigarettes, vape pens, and similar devices). This list is not exhaustive and may be updated at any time, so please contact us for more information about eligible items and quantities.

Each parcel has a default insurance coverage of up to £50 against loss or damage + shipping costs. Optional additional parcel insurance is available at the point of purchase. To make a claim you’ll need to fill out a Claims form.

For UK based customers, GlobalPost offers two additional shipping services, GlobalPost Economy International and GlobalPost Standard International. These are DAP services and can be used to ship from the UK to over 200 destinations (excluding the USA). For customers based in the USA, GlobalPost offers multiple domestic and international services.
