ShipStation’s unified dashboard consolidated all sales channels into one interface for Amanda Deer Jewelry, with tagging for priority orders and batch processing for efficient team workflows.
When Amanda Eddy started designing jewelry in 2010, she was following her creative passion. That passion grew into something remarkable: Amanda Deer Jewelry, a thriving fashion jewelry brand based in Austin, Texas, specializing in dainty, affordable pieces for fashion-forward women. After formally establishing the company in 2013 and opening a retail store in 2017, Eddy had built an impressive multi-channel business selling through Shopify, Etsy, Amazon, and TikTok Shop. With that growth came more orders to ship every day.
Each morning, her director of operations would gather orders from Shopify, Etsy, Amazon, and TikTok Shop, then switch between each platform to print shipping labels and figure out which orders needed to go out first. The process worked, but Eddy knew there had to be a better way.
“At that point, my director of operations was spending a lot of time every morning pulling in orders from all the different platforms,” Eddy explained.
Each platform had its own way of handling shipping, creating a fragmented workflow that consumed precious hours that could have been spent on growing the business or creating new designs.
The mounting inefficiencies of multi-platform shipping were becoming unsustainable. Eddy needed a way to bring all her orders together in one place while maintaining visibility into urgent shipments and priority orders. In 2020, Eddy found her solution: ShipStation’s unified dashboard that promised to consolidate multiple sales channels.
“So for us, it was really about efficiency and bringing it all together in one simple dashboard,” Eddy said.
The decision to implement ShipStation proved transformative. Rather than jumping between platforms each morning, Eddy’s team could now see all orders for the day in one quick snapshot, organize them into efficient batches, and streamline their entire fulfillment process.
Today, ShipStation has become the cornerstone of Amanda Deer Jewelry’s daily operations.
“It’s the first thing we do when we hit our studio in the morning,” Eddy said. “We go in and we check our orders, get everything running, and it kind of dictates our day.”
The platform’s tagging system allows the team to instantly identify orders that need special handling, whether it’s expedited shipping for TikTok Shop’s tight delivery requirements or priority orders that need to go out via FedEx or UPS. This immediate visibility enables them to tackle the most time-sensitive orders first, then work systematically through the rest of their daily fulfillment.
The efficiency gains have been remarkable. Eddy can now assign different batches to team members based on their expertise. This specialization, made possible by ShipStation’s batch organization capabilities, has dramatically improved both speed and quality.
What impressed Eddy most was discovering that ShipStation offered much more than just shipping labels. The platform’s integrated inventory management helps track stock levels, while weekly performance emails provide valuable insights into sales trends, order volumes, and shipping revenue.
The integration has become so seamless that Eddy rarely needs to access her individual platform interfaces anymore.
“This is crazy, but I almost rarely go into the order section of Shopify, which is our main ecommerce platform,” she said. “I just look at everything through the lens of ShipStation because everything is there.”
The transformation has had measurable impacts on customer satisfaction. By streamlining operations and reducing fulfillment time, Amanda Deer Jewelry can get orders out the door faster than ever before. The brand has now sold more than 150,000 pieces of jewelry and shipped to more than 79 countries around the world—proof of both global demand and operational scalability. The time savings have been so substantial that Eddy struggles to imagine operating without the platform.
“Without ShipStation, our current shipping volume and handling would be massive,” Eddy reflected. “We’d need to go into each different platform, print things out, and it takes so much time. Having everything all together is just so quick and efficient.”
The streamlined operations have positioned Amanda Deer Jewelry for continued expansion across new sales channels. ShipStation’s seamless integration capabilities mean that adding new platforms becomes effortless, allowing new channels to plug right into their existing workflow without disrupting their established efficiency.
For Eddy, ShipStation has proven to be more than just a shipping solution. It’s become the operational backbone that enables her team to focus on what they do best: creating beautiful jewelry and serving their customers. The platform has transformed what was once a daily source of stress into a smooth, predictable process that actually drives the rhythm of their entire business.
